wake up, wake up, wake up …

You can’t wake a person who is pretending to be asleep.
– Navajo Proverb

How can you communicate with someone who really isn’t there? They may be there physically. In reality, they may haven’t been in their bodies for years.

Some of them even look at you and act like they are actually engaging with you but they aren’t there at all; in fact they aren’t even “present.” They should hang a abandon sign over the door of their hearts.

They either don’t want to be there or they are already way down the road in their minds because they live in some digital fantasy that they feel so vital to the future of facebook that they don’t want to miss a beep or a tweet or their last text message. Lets face it: digital is a great tool and a terrible master but that is only half of the story. Some people refuse to be real and they have a wall around them bigger than the Berlin wall for so long that they don’t know how to even begin to let themselves out and let someone in? Some people don’t have any really “substance” to begin with; it isn’t their fault; its just part of their DNA. It is fine if you prefer superficial relationships that flit in and out of your life like a firefly. In this world of global friendship now that we are all “friends” it may pay to take some down time to re-evaluate what you value in friendships and family. And remember we aren’t going to be here forever. This is a fact!

And you cannot communicate with someone that refuses to receive you no matter how hard you try or want to. There are some things in life that are not negotiable. And if someone has made up their mind and refuses to let you into their circle then move on. The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong. -Mahatma Gandhi (1869 – 1948)

It is the nature of life to keep moving. Life is constantly presenting us grand lessons in serendipitous meetings. Now remember, don’t allow another one of those closed minded mental midgets steal another minute of your precious life. Time is moving quickly these days.

“LIFE IS EPHIMERAL;ITS A BLINK ; YOUTH GOES IN MOMENTS TATHERING THE CHILDHOOD;SUN SETS AS WE GROW OLD. INEVITABLE FOR ALL HAVE TO GO ! WE COULD DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR OTHERS ,WE SHOULD DO IT NOW BECAUSE TOMORROW MAY NEVER´╗┐ COME TOMORROW ,TODAY IS A BETTER DAY TO GIVE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE TO THIS WORLD !” -Skylark
