Starting Over Again

November 7th, 2011

Starting over again ain’t easy. Nobody said life was gonna be a rose garden. We all have to start over every day. Yesterday is history. Everyone has scars just some people hide them better than others. No one gets out of life untouched. I used to think money was the padding that could keep pain from your life but found out that isn’t true at all. I know some people with lots of money who have lost loved ones through suicide, drugs and other personal tragedies. Life isn’t about things; its about one another. Nobody can change the past and no one knows the future. I think this is being revealed to us all with the way the world is today. There are some things that are out of our control.

Now today is Sunday and I always try and dedicate this post to God. So here goes: we all have equal playing ground when you decide to give your heart to Christ cuz He said: “for all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.” -Romans 3: 23

And did you ever hear that story about the lame man at the pool and when Jesus went by, he cried out to be healed and you know what Christ said to him? He said: “your sins have been forgiven” How do you think that man felt? He didn’t want to hear all that!

He wanted to have his legs healed. And he did. The man had waited by the pool of Bethesda for years and had a lot of other people waiting there also knowing that Jesus was able to heal cuz that was the word on the street. But Christ was really saying was He hadn’t seen such faith in all of His life; the man showed his faith with his action. He had to take action to receive his miracle. And even after being healed on the spot the man had a lot of work to do; he had to work at strengthening the muscles in his legs and he had to stay with it physically and mentally to maintain his ability to stay healed. He just couldn’t lie down and give up. That wasn’t an option. It wasn’t then and it isn’t now. So press on.

Nobody no matter how good think you are has fallen short of perfection and perfect Love. So many people are reluctant and downright hard hearted when it comes to accepting Christ for who He is: the First and the Last; The Alpha & Omega. Wherever Christ went people followed because they could feel His love in His presence. Jesus is Divine Love He made the blind see; He brought the dead to life and healed the sick and dying. He took the broken and made them whole again. Let Him bring new life to you.
