Bring Your Broken Pieces To The Lord

January 15th, 2012

Jesus Feeds the 5000

A small boy gave Jesus five small barley loaves and two small fish and Jesus fed five thousand men; not including women and children and there were twelve baskets of left over pieces. Jesus is Mighty to Save and Strong to Provide. No matter how meager are your resources; God will provide. -Luke 9:10-27

Question of the day is: have you brought your broken pieces to the One who can make it right that One is Jesus Christ?

Actually, the significant truth here is: the boy gave the disciples the bread and they offered it to the Lord Jesus and Christ multiplied it to feed the masses. He had compassion and knew they were hungry. Jesus will always meet your needs.

Sometimes God uses something very small or what the world calls insignificant to accomplish something very important for example bringing people to Himself. What do you have that God can use for His Glory? There is plenty that you can do. Do you have the gift to sing, play music, show kindness or give love? Can you, by being thoughtful, help others to be happy or just bring a smile to someone who may be hurting today? Can you be patient with your brothers or sisters to help create harmony in your family? With God a little is a lot.

Hi Everyone:

Today is Sunday. On Sundays I choose to give Glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. He is my Savior. He is my mentor and my best friend! I came to know Him not because I was so good but because He is. He, Jesus that is is the One who sticks closer than a Brother. -Proverbs 18:24 I ran from Him for years, in fact most of my life. He was after me to bless me and yet many many times I rejected Him before I even knew what He wanted. All the while He wanted to Bless me. I am still a work in progress today. :) He blesses us to become a blessing to others. He is God. He gives Hope when there is none. He heals broken hearts, minds and lives. Jesus is calling you today. Maybe you’ve been running from Him for awhile now. Today is another day that He is reaching out to you through these words. God has not forgotten you. He wants you to surrender to Him. He wants you to trust Him and Him alone. You are special to God. He has an agenda for your life.

God Bless you.
-Meg

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

With God a little is a lot.

“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”

- John 6:35
